 Welcome to the Church Street School PTA 

 Soaring to New Heights...

 Church Street School PTA welcomes all parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers and administrators of students to join our membership.  The PTA has a threefold mission:

ADVOCATE - To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;

EDUCATE - To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children and to enhance the educational and life experiences of our children;

INVOLVEMENT – To encourage parent involvement in our school and community.

These goals of the PTA are met through open communication with the White Plains Public Schools administration, parents and community leaders.  Some of the programs which the PTA sponsors to accomplish its goals are:

Informative speakers at PTA meetings, assembly programs, field trips, author/illustrator visits, book fairs, special programs such as Parents-As-Reading-Partners (PARP), a PTA newsletter, class parent volunteers, family events such as Trunk or Treat and Carnival.
