Soaring to New Heights...
Church Street School PTA welcomes all parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers and administrators of students to join our membership.  The PTA has a threefold mission:

      

ADVOCATE

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children

EDUCATE

To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children and to enhance the educational and life experiences of our children.

INVOLVEMENT

To encourage parent involvement in our school and community.

These goals of the PTA are met through open communication with the White Plains Public Schools administration, parents and community leaders.

  • Educational speakers at PTA meetings

  • Field trips
  • Author/illustrator visits
  • Book fairs
  • Parents-As-Reading-Partners (PARP)
  • PTA newsletter
  • Class parent volunteers
  • Family events (Trunk or Treat, Carnival)
